MTM Recognition Partners with HBO and The Wire
HBO Entertainment chose MTM Recognition to design and manufacture a ring for the cast and crew of the award winning drama series “The Wire.” The partnership worked out perfectly for this Baltimore based drama series and the MTM Mid-Atlantic office, both located in Maryland.
The sterling silver ring with garnet stone was designed as a high school class ring to represent the theme of the fourth season, which includes a look at the role of the educational system in an urban environment.
The Latin inscription on one side of the ring “Omnis Partis Referret” translates to “All The Pieces Matter” which represents the importance of each and every member of the cast and crew. “Season 4, HBO” is panto-engraved on the other side.
“The rings have been a tremendous hit – collectively it’s been a huge success!” were the comments of Assistant Producer, Toby Hessenauer. Toby worked closely with Bob Saunders and Kim Westcoat on the design and web site platform for ordering the rings. Bob Saunders stated “ We were very proud of our team delivering a quality product with a short time frame, and exceeding HBO’s expectations.
The rings were presented on April 28, 2006 on stage with a prom party to follow on April 29th.
