MTM Honored (again) By National Design Magazine
MTM Recognition has been selected as the winner of nine awards in the 2006 American In-house Design Awards. The honored work was created by the graphic design group in Minnesota.
Hosted by the national trade magazine Graphic Design USA, the competition aims to assure that the outstanding work of in-house designers and design teams is recognized. Graphic Design USA has been sponsoring design competitions for four decades. This particular competition attracted nearly 3,500 entries, of which fewer than 1 in 5 received recognition.
The outstanding promotional work created to market MTM’s new point-banking program, PointFolio™, grabbed three awards, and was created by Theresa Carlson, Ginger Flemming, and Chris Flemming. The materials helped communicate the excitement and value of the new program.
“We challenged ourselves to come up with a fresh approach and drew from the evaluation of our clients needs and market trends by our marketing team, the ingenuity and resourceful spirit of our manufacturing and print teams and the experience of our sales consultants to blend all our talents,” said Theresa. “It was truly a team effort, developing collateral for this new program to distinguish us from every other competitor in our market.”
“Business leaders assess prospective business partners by their successes. Quality companies want to work with organizations that get results,” said Cyndi. “Winning Graphic Design USA awards through a national competition communicates that expertise.”
“An initiative was set to make our marketing materials more consistent with our new website and tradeshow booth, two highly visible corporate identity staples,” said Chris. “We partnered with many internal and external focus groups to finesse our marketing and sales strategies,” added Ginger.
